ADL Fashion Week 2025

Adelaide’s premier fashion event returns from 8 – 12 October 2025, reimagined for a bold new era. This year, ADL Fashion Week expands into a five-day citywide celebration that threads together fashion, business, and creative culture across Adelaide and North Adelaide.

More than a festival, ADL Fashion Week 2025 is a dynamic platform for industry growth, creative expression, and cross-sector collaboration, a definitive showcase of South Australia’s design leadership on the national stage.

A Landmark Year for South Australian Fashion

In 2025, SAFIA joins forces with the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA) to deliver the festival’s most expansive program yet. With runways, talks, workshops, associated events, and activations, this year’s edition positions Adelaide as a global city of style, culture, and innovation.

“This event is a critical platform for South Australia’s fashion industry,” says Nathan James Crane, SAFIA Board Chair. “It gives designers and makers the opportunity to be seen, to grow, and to connect with audiences in meaningful ways.”

Amplifying Creativity, Strengthening Industry

The 2024 edition set a powerful precedent, over 2,200 ticketed event sales, free activations across the city, and a third of events spotlighting sustainability. The 2025 program builds on this success, expanding visibility for local designers, strengthening cross-industry partnerships, and offering new opportunities for participation at all levels.

Businesses across Adelaide are invited to join the Associated Events Program, a curated opportunity to launch new ideas, products, collaborations, and experiences during the festival period. Tiered marketing support and promotional benefits are available to maximise impact and reach.

SAFIA: Expressions of Interest Open

We’re excited to share that fashion designers and brands have the opportunity to take centre stage in a professionally curated series of runway shows as part of ADL Fashion Week 2025.

Together with the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA), we’re proud to support a program that highlights the depth, innovation, and diversity of South Australia’s fashion industry.

Runway EOIs opened Monday 11 August and closed Friday 22 August.

Whether you’re ready to present your next collection on the runway or activate through a bespoke event, there’s a place for you within ADL Fashion Week 2025.

What is the Runway EOI?

This year’s curated runway series will form the creative anchor of the festival, supported by a city-wide calendar of Associated Events, including pop-ups, exhibitions, retail activations, and talks.

Participation in the runway program offers brands the opportunity to:
✔ Reach new audiences
✔ Deepen industry connections
✔ Position themselves within a state-wide creative showcase

How Will Submissions Be Assessed?

The process is being facilitated by SAFIA, with a strong commitment to equity, transparency, and meaningful industry representation.

All EOIs will be reviewed by an independent panel of respected leaders across fashion, media, and education, using a consistent rubric and clear selection criteria.
