Dr Nathan James Crane FDIA is Board Chair of SAFIA. A cultural strategist, writer and convenor, he works where design, fashion, philanthropy and public life meet, and brings more than fifteen years of experience across creative practice, leadership and education to the role.

At SAFIA, he champions innovation, industry development and lasting cultural impact across South Australia’s fashion ecosystem, with a particular commitment to the pathways that connect education, emerging designers and industry. His work is guided by a belief that culture is shaped through gathering, authorship and the careful stewardship of ideas, people and institutions.

He is the founder of Élever, a radically social cultural platform and jewellery brand that explores intimacy as a contemporary model of luxury, and is a regular guest judge for design and creative industry awards and is often invited to contribute to public conversations on aesthetics, authorship and creative leadership.

Crane is also a Fellow of the Design Institute of Australia, he contributes to national conversations shaping the future of design practice and education.

Across every part of his practice, Nathan builds environments where ideas are exchanged with care, culture is held as a living practice, and gathering becomes a meaningful act of leadership.

Client Engagement Lead

Tracey Bryans has built a diverse career spanning more than 20 years across business, accounting, consulting and the creative industries. Beginning her career within accounting firms, Tracey went on to establish and operate her own consulting business before moving into the Australian style and image industry, where she worked in personal and editorial styling.

While styling has been a fundamental and much-loved part of Tracey’s working life, her corporate and business career remains at her core. Tracey currently works as a Client Engagement Lead, where she draws on her extensive business experience, strong relationship-building skills and passion for creating meaningful connections. She loves the combination of business and creativity and continues to embrace styling opportunities when they arise, particularly those that align with her lifestyle, values and interests.

Tracey is passionate about supporting and connecting South Australia’s fashion and creative industries and is excited to contribute her broad business, creative and industry experience as a Board member of SAFIA.

Elena Krotiris is a Director at Holman Hodge and a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years’ experience in the accounting profession. She specialises in advising small and medium businesses, providing strategic guidance across financial management, governance, structuring, and long-term planning.

She is known for helping business owners strengthen their commercial foundations, improve performance visibility, and make informed decisions that support sustainable growth.

Elena has worked across a diverse range of industries, including fashion and retail, and has developed a strong understanding of the challenges faced by creative and growing enterprises. She recently led an initiative in partnership with Nex+ Workspace to support creative entrepreneurs in developing and scaling their businesses, equipping founders with practical financial skills and confidence for long-term success.

Elena brings a genuine passion for the arts and fashion, alongside her commercial and governance expertise.

Publisher – Cocktail Revolution

Stacey Pallaras, BA, Dip Ed, M.Com is the publisher of Cocktail Revolution, an award winning  digital fashion platform which ranks #3 on the world wide web for street fashion. 

Stacey’s interstate and international career includes senior positions in the corporate, government, not-for-profit and small business sectors. Her international experience includes working with clients such as  American Express, Marriott Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels, Matsuzakaya, Motorola, China Light and Power, Sun Hung Kai Properties and William Grant Scotch Whisky. Commissioned to design management courses for the Hong Kong Department of Labour and Hong Kong University, she was also  involved in the national roll-out adopting Equal Opportunity Legislation in Australia.

More recently, Stacey headed up community broadcasters Twin Cities 89.7, where she was instrumental in securing their permanent broadcasting licence and Fresh 92.7.

Luke Dale practises in the areas of corporate and commercial law, with a particular focus on intellectual property law and brand protection, technology law, media and entertainment law, privacy and data protection law, franchising and consumer protection.

Luke manages trade mark portfolios for large corporate clients and helps to protect their brands in Australia and throughout the world in all key markets. He has specific expertise in negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial documents, including licensing agreements, distribution agreements and technology transfers. Luke also prepares and advises upon privacy policies and data management procedures.
