Members play a key role in identifying emerging needs, sharing sector insights, and supporting a connected, capable, and globally engaged South Australian fashion industry.

We welcome applicants who are passionate about elevating the sector, generous with their expertise, and committed to contributing to a more resilient and sustainable fashion ecosystem.

1. Voluntary Participation
Membership on the IAC is voluntary. Members do not receive payment, honorariums, or financial benefits for their participation.

2. Term of Appointment
Successful applicants will be appointed for a 12-month term, with the possibility of renewal at SAFIA’s discretion. SAFIA may make additional or replacement appointments during this period to maintain balanced industry representation.

3. Attendance and Participation
Members are expected to attend quarterly meetings and actively contribute to discussions, insights, and committee activities. A minimum of 50% attendance is required to remain an active member.

4. Advisory Nature of the Committee
The IAC is an advisory body only. It does not hold decision-making authority, operational responsibilities, or governance powers. Final decisions rest with the SAFIA Board.

Members may be provided with sensitive, commercial, or pre-release information. All Committee discussions, documents, and insights must remain confidential unless otherwise approved by SAFIA.

6. Conflicts of Interest

Any ideas, recommendations, or insights contributed to the IAC become part of SAFIA’s strategic and operational development processes. Members acknowledge that SAFIA may use these inputs in its advocacy, programs, reports, or communication materials.

10. Privacy and Use of Information
