ADL Fashion Week 2026

ADL FASHION WEEK RETURNS 7–11 OCTOBER 2026
Adelaide’s leading fashion event returns from 7–11 October 2026, bringing five days of fashion, culture, creativity, and city-wide activation to Adelaide and North Adelaide.
Presented by the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA), with support from the South Australian Fashion Industry Association (SAFIA), ADL Fashion Week continues to evolve as a defining platform for South Australian fashion, celebrating the designers, makers, retailers, venues, and creative businesses shaping the state’s contemporary fashion landscape.
More than a festival, ADL Fashion Week is a dynamic expression of Adelaide’s creative identity, connecting fashion with hospitality, retail, ideas, and public culture in ways that strengthen both industry and audience engagement.
A Platform for Fashion, Creativity, and Industry Growth
The 2026 festival builds on the momentum of previous years, with an expanded five-day program spanning runway presentations, workshops, talks, retail activations, dining experiences, and associated events across the city.
ADL Fashion Week creates meaningful opportunities for South Australian fashion businesses to increase visibility, connect with new audiences, build industry relationships, and participate in a broader cultural moment that positions Adelaide as a city of design, creativity, and innovation.
As SAFIA Board Chair Nathan James Crane notes:
“Fashion runways remain one of the most powerful and expressive ways designers can communicate their work. ADL Fashion Week provides an important platform for South Australian creatives to be seen, celebrated, and connected with new audiences in meaningful ways.”
Building on Strong Momentum
The festival continues to grow in both audience reach and industry impact.
Previous editions have demonstrated strong engagement, with more than half of attendees attending for the first time, high satisfaction rates, and significant increases in perceptions of ADL Fashion Week’s economic and cultural value to South Australia.
The broader impact across the city has also been clear, with strong visitation to Adelaide CBD and North Adelaide businesses, increased hospitality spending, and growing recognition of fashion as an important contributor to Adelaide’s cultural and economic ecosystem.
