Membership is valid for:

12 months from your signup date

Membership is not based on the calendar year or financial year.

Yes. Membership renews automatically every 12 months unless cancelled before renewal.

This helps maintain continuity of access and supports SAFIA’s ability to sustainably plan and deliver member value.

Renewal reminders will be issued prior to renewal.

Yes. You may cancel membership at any time before renewal.

Cancellation prevents future automatic renewal charges.

Your membership benefits remain active until the end of your current membership term unless membership is suspended or terminated under SAFIA’s Terms and Conditions.

Membership fees are generally non-refundable.

Refunds may only be considered in limited circumstances such as:

• duplicate payment
• payment error
• administrative error
• circumstances required by law

Change of mind does not qualify for a refund.

This recognises members helping establish SAFIA’s paid membership era and supporting the organisation’s next chapter.

Our inaugural Foundation 20 Members will receive two years of membership for the price of one, together with dedicated recognition as a SAFIA Foundation Member.

Absolutely! Membership is intended to grow over time as SAFIA strengthens its capacity, partnerships, programs, and member ecosystem.

Joining is simple! Complete the online membership form, confirm your details, accept the membership terms, and complete payment (where applicable).

Membership becomes active once confirmed by SAFIA via email.

Eligible students joining during the 2026 launch campaign will automatically receive the complimentary first-year membership offer. Verification with a valid student photo ID may be requested.

Applicants under 18 require parent or guardian consent in accordance with SAFIA’s membership rules.
